Zone de Texte: Samples which were positive by nested PCR only (n = 18) were analysed by a second pair of primers (XF 9, 11, 12, Roberts) with semi-nested PCR. The PCR product of those samples which could not be confirmed by XF-Primers were analysed by restriction enzyme analysis (n= 4) . Two samples could not be confirmed as the first PCR could not be repeated. They probably contained bacteria near the detection limit. Nevertheless, they were regarded as positive.
