Zone de Texte: Conclusions Zone de Texte: The discovery of morphologically unusual PCN in statutory soil samples in Scotland (as well as elsewhere in Europe) is a regular, although infrequent, occurrence.
Molecular diagnostics permits the identification of ‘difficult’ specimens.
On this occasion an unusual cyst was identified as G. pallida.
We aim to develop this work to establish the molecular and morphological characteristics of native species of Globodera, for example G. artemisiae, a parasite of mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) and G. achilleae, a parasite on yarrow (Achillea millefolium). Zone de Texte: SASA ??Crown Copyright
