Zone de Texte: A third strain of the pathogen was recovered from nurseries in WA state and Sacramento, CA on roots of rhododendrons. (John Bienapfl & Dave Rizzo presented at APS, Austin, Texas). Pacific yew was found with cankers. This is the first indication a conifer can get cankers and die from P. ramorum infection.
