Zone de Texte: the ecological shatter, something worse than fragmentation, due to the urban muddled sprawl, the abandon of agro-forestry land uses, fires, the low quality construction of the settlement, roads and paths for vehicular accessibility to the new houses, etc.; the loss of identity due to the trivialization of the settlement. The new residential areas don’t match the sites’ morphology, the previous urban hierarchy and characterisation are disappeared, flattened by the uniformity of land uses tourism-dominated and the abandon of the most of the typical local agricultural and handicraft activities, etc. Disorder, or mess, is maybe the word that better describes the present situation. Thus, they had rightly interpreted the aspirations of the public with regard to the lanscape feature of their surroundings* Of course, somebody complained and still complains the “great reshuffling”, the construction of buildings along the seashore, the overpressure of tourism concentrated in July and August, etc., but what has to be pointed out is that people perception is such as to permit the result of a general mess.
