Regions Creating and improving BC networks will speed up resource exchange, and will be opening windows on spread limitation of bioinvaders, with substantial time and money savings Risk analysis is now a prerequisite for getting official permits to release BCAs in new territories. Since the early 90’s, evaluation process of potential BC agents are following standard protocols including natives, crop plants in host specificity testings. Be aware that BC does not work for every invasive plant, or in all environmental conditions; BC has limitations, but should not be considered the last option, when chemicals fail!
