Zone de Texte: -In an orchard, Kalecik district of the Ankara Province, in 1995 4.1 % of apples were infected by codling moth in IPM orchard while the ratio was 54.4 % in nearby orchards used for comparision -In the same district, timely one application of a pesticide against hawthorn spider mite (Tetranychus viennensis) prevented the damage in IPM orchard while damage contunied during the season, trees were almost shedding in check orchard(s) -Surveys with apple producers in Egirdir district of the Isparta Province showed that producers sprayed 8-15 times fungicides for apple scab control, 2-4 times insecticides for codling moth control and 1-3 times mitecides for red spider mites until 10 July. In the same district in IPM orchard, 6 times fungicides, 2 times insecticidesand once mitecides were applied at the same duration.
