Zone de Texte: In the Aegean Region apple scab had 1-10 infection periods in 1995, 1996 and 1997; but, 2 fungicide applications were good enogh in most cases to keep disease under control. Fungicide applications did not exceed 5 times. Population level of codling moth was found lower than thresholds in IPM orchards in the Nigde Province in 1998 and 1999 and no insecticide was applied. But, an application was applied in 1997. - In the Icel Province, Conditions in July were slightly favorable for infections. However, because primary infections were below 20 %, it was decided that there was no need for pesticide application for secondary infections.
