Zone de Texte: AgmedaWin – gap filling and plausibility checking Zone de Texte: gap filling small gaps (up to 3 hours) are filled via linear interpolation big gaps (more than 3 hours) are filled with data of an adjacent station, merging the data exactly into the gap plausibility checking internal plausibility checking: internal plausibility checking is done for the data of a single station using several checking algorithms: checking of lower and upper limits several algorithms for checking the dynamic of the data, e.g. 12 equal values of air temperature in series 12 equal values of precipitation in series bigger than 0 comparing a value with its previous and following value to detect „big jumps“ Values which are not plausible are marked with the plausibility sign „*“. external plausibility checking: external plausibility checking is done to compare data of adjacent stations.
