Zone de Texte: This pest, native of China, is world-wide considered the most dangerous insect of Castanea. From China it was introduced in Japan (1941), Korea (1961) and Georgia (U.S.A., 1974) probably with movements of infested twigs or grafts not submitted to quarantine measures.
