It contained the requirements and the date of their introduction. After the introduction we, the Plant Protection Service and the Customs Office inspected strictly and, in case of incompliance, we took measures. Thanks to the information provided for exporters, the number of refusals remained relatively acceptable. In Hungary the phytosanitary inspectors check the wood packaging material, too for all the consignments which are inspected by them. In case of the other consignments, the customs office is the competent authority. They check randomly.
