Third Meeting of the Interim Standards Committee

The third meeting of the Committee received new first drafts for standards on: amendments of the Glossary (ISPM no. 5), regulated non-quarantine pests (concept and application), wood packing material used in transport of commodities, pest reporting, integrated measures for pest risk management (systems approaches). These were amended and sent out for consultation to ICPM members. A revised version of the draft on 'Import regulatory system' was presented but the Committee concluded that this required further study and called on a sub-committee of its members to review it before the next ICPM. Mr Fésüs (HU) and Dr I.M. Smith attended for EPPO.
