4th meeting of the Interim Standards Committee

The fourth meeting of the Committee reviewed the comments received from ICPM members on five draft standards : amendments to ISPM no. 5 (Glossary of phytosanitary terms), use of integrated measures in a systems approach for pest risk management, guidelines for regulating wood packaging material in international trade, pest reporting, and regulated non-quarantine pests (concept and application). All were finalized for presentation to the 4th ICPM. Mr I. Fésüs (HU) and Dr I.M. Smith attended for EPPO, while Mr M.A. Rahel (MA) represented the Near East and Mr R. Burgess (GB) attended as an ad hoc expert on treatment of wood.
